History on the side on the allies then showed their stripes
The colors of victory such for the little Island Britannia
The men and woman showed their true colors & determination
Strength of resolve in nation Church and Crown
I applaud all standing up for their Island Nation and world
Not withstanding the many islands where war was fought
American and other nations combined to weaken and force
The forces of war and that carnage to see their end
Today a different story has shaped our views and emerged
A world waring for what specifics never to return
But remains incorrigibly a people against the reason
The gift of race and creed by all human standards
To keep remain in common greatness our heritage.
