The Road We Came.

Left my luggage on the boat boarded to America
I walked the plank above the moat
Not having name coat or clue the new road
The little Louie that ran past with none the same
Growl in tongue given name in lieu I bought not
Pocket chunks of gold and silver freedoms very trade
For now hammock and tree pinned in welcomed yonder
Wooded island but said stay well all here as you came
Stay well all here that shiver for welcomes burning torch
What shall we say price for freedoms fortune
The sun doesn’t set quite with juried deliberations
Some come go another in great ways are allowed
I saw life’s songs in operate on this anchored stage
Nothing more becoming a song for the comings
The divided arguments are those still held in Cathedral
Not very welcome are the nameless shadows in our church
And bless evermore against the changing thunder
Bringing new light to another day in today’s prayer
One must pay tribute or tax keeping our sentiment
Holier than thou so goes the slippery slope and song
The rich is to period same self  like wine is to table
Agreements of gained greatness against little else
The North is always colder in part than the south
Who’s promises take hold and rob the nations about
It is the earth and story that is the keeper guardian
From one vessel to another in time our one of many
Fruits apple lemon or broken promises gains and losses
I left out,
From the darkest of caves it brings things we can’t figure out
The capture of the chess pieces that turbulent seas
Cannot its waters reach but remember more once said
“We do these things because they are hard. ( from JFK speech to NASA )
Well it’s just as hard the truth be told.
