The road to Hades.
It is a path avoidable
and begins with rusty fallings fittings and masks
the money being sent by train truck and car
has since gone by the wayside with little wind
where none the wiser and other things lay
like little cities free of the rusty waters
none above has fallen returned without grace
with which man has reached out to woman
the leopard his stripes many in fold
the trees many branches broken and fallen
are silent from ash and yesterday’s climb
that touch all the windows view
that is now the Hades.
